"Steppin' Thru the Looking Glass!" the 31st Marin Senior Information Fair.
Reserve your booth space now to become part of our popular, well-publicized event. We host approximately 5000 attendees and 140 exhibitors each year. The 2016 Fair is Wednesday, October 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael.
Booth fees remain the same in 2016. You will find participation an effective way to reach your audiences age 55 and up, and a true bargain at the North Bay’s largest and most popular senior event. We welcome, inform and entertain seniors. Our audiences include those their enjoying retirement years, and folks who are planning their retirements. Caretakers and family members from all over the Bay Area are attracted to the Fair.
The theme celebrates adventure, searching for the best in ourselves, and the best life has to offer. We honor North Bay seniors from 55 to 105 years. "Steppin' Thru the Looking Glass!" acknowledges the vibrancy, intelligence, curiosity, creativity and strength of senior citizens. We focus on lifestyle information from ABC to XYZ, from active living and learning, social connection, community, fitness, safe computer use, local adventures, to actual and armchair travel, creativity, ingenuity, humor, wit, pursuit of new interests, health concerns, in home aging, volunteer options, and education, and even instruction in dance.
Your presentation about: services, opportunities, and activities pertinent to older adults will be of interest. Housing, in-home care, auto and home safety, legal issues, education, personal healthcare options, nutrition, volunteering, medical information, counseling and screenings, family activities, clubs, hobbies, fitness, travel, dance, fashion, scrapbooking, photography, computers, smart phones, art, memoir writing, pets, and finances are some categories that come to mind. Spectacular booth presentation ideas are limitless! Use your imagination. Exhibitors are encouraged to offer healthful treats and/or giveaways relevant to senior needs.
EARLY BIRD BOOTH FEES ARE AVAILABLE FOR APPLICANTS WHOSE COMPLETED APPLICATION AND CHECK ARE POSTMARKED BY JULY 10, 2015. Download and print your Application and Fair Agreement. Fill out completely, sign, date, and mail with your check. Checks must accompany applications.
Application deadlines allow us to best publicize and advertise the Fair and your organization. IF YOU PLAN HEALTH SCREENINGS, FITNESS DEMOS, OR ANOTHER SPECIAL ACTIVITY AT YOUR BOOTH, LET US KNOW ON YOUR APPLICATION. The information you provide will help us promote your booth.

Jan Wahl, popular KRON TV/ KCBS broadcast personality returns to emcee "Steppin' Thru the Looking Glass!" Art, Photography and Quilt shows; activity booths, addressing computer and internet use, online safety, email, and smart phone usage; Health Screenings, Flu shots, Health Tests, and other Fair activities are planned. All day entertainment on two stages and around the Fair includes film, music, dance, and more. Prizes are awarded throughout the day to Fair-goers. In 2016 we will offer a variety of fun mini events to fairgoers.
As always, YOU, our imaginative exhibitors are the stars of the event, are the event's stars, with your creative, colorful and informative booth presentations that celebrate the theme. We award vendor prizes for the Fair's Best Decorated, Most Informative, and Best in Show booths each year. Grab your creative hat! Please remember, all Booths are required to remain intact and fully operational until 3 PM, when the Fair ends.
